Chairman’s Final Speech at Summer Garden Party

We had a wonderful summer’s evening for this year’s Chairman’s Summer Garden Party on Wednesday 5 July. We were joined by so many of our long-standing Patrons, Friends and Supporters and we welcomed a number of new members to the annual event for the first time. As always the Walled Garden was looking stunning and the live jazz was thoroughly enjoyed throughout the evening.

Restoration project update

We are now half way through the year and our plans to restore the Tudor Quadrangle and Great Hall as well as revitalise the botanic gardens are coming on well. Recruitment is in progress and our educational activities are already underway with our Little Green Fingers programme and the Bronze Arts Award planned for October half term.

Launch of Family Membership

In early May, The Friends of Fulham Palace hosted a morning of activities to launch the new Fulham Palace family membership. More than thirty families enjoyed the party given by the Friends in partnership with All Saints Church and twelve families signed up for the family membership on the day.

An insight into the Fulham Palace of the Future

In line with the current exhibition 'The Architects and Craftsmen of Fulham Palace', David Hills and Louise Clark, leading heritage architects from Purcell, gave a fascinating introduction to the 'Fulham Palace of the Future' on Tuesday 27th February. This was the first in a series of talks to focus on the craft of building and the craftsmanship inherent within much of our heritage.
