‘Thanks To You’

As one of many organisations to benefit from the Heritage Lottery Fund, we are saying thanks to The National Lottery players by offering FREE places (usually £6) on two of our upcoming history tours (12 & 17 December, 2017). You just need to book in advance and bring along proof of a National Lottery ticket purchase.

The tours take place on Tuesday 12 and Sunday 17 December at 12:30pm, starting in the Museum.

Tours begin outdoors with the history of the building and the gardens (weather permitting). Once inside, the group moves through the Great Hall, Victorian Chapel, Bishop Terrick Drawing and Dining Rooms, Bishop Sherlock’s Room and concludes in the two Museum rooms where permanent displays are exhibited. You can purchase a memento of your visit at the Museum shop.

Regular tours also take place throughout the year. Visit our What’s On page for upcoming tour dates and times.
