Young Archaeologists’ Club (YAC): Plaster mouldings
Our Young Archaeologists’ Club (YAC) is for budding archaeologists aged 8 to 16.
Each month YAC members investigate different themes, with activities that can range from learning to catalogue artefacts to taking part in a real archaeology dig!
During our Dovecote dig we discovered fragments of 17th century moulded plaster which may once have adorned our great hall. In this session we will be creating moulded plaster shapes using natural elements and attempting to replicate the former hall ceiling.
