Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Fulham Palace?
Join us for our annual general meeting to discover more about the Trust that cares for this historic site. Hear about the past year’s achievements, exciting projects and what’s planned for the future, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and meet members of the team over drinks and light refreshments.
The evening concludes with a fascinating guest talk from ecologist and RSPB Conservation Officer Joe Beale. Drawing on his biodiversity survey of Fulham Palace, Joe will reveal the surprising wildlife that can be found in urban parks and gardens, from overlooked species to new arrivals, and share how we can all help support nature closer to home.
About the speaker
Joe Beale is a Fellow of the British Naturalists’ Association and author of The Birds of Greenwich Park, alongside numerous papers and publications on British flora and fauna. He is an RSPB Conservation Officer and previously worked as an ecologist and gardener in the Natural History Museum’s Wildlife Garden.
In 2021, Joe carried out a biodiversity survey of Fulham Palace, identifying a remarkable variety of butterflies, moths, dragonflies and birds, and making recommendations to help protect and enhance these valuable habitats.

- Drinks & light refreshments will be served at the beginning of the event.
- This event will begin with an overview of the last year at Fulham Palace (approx. 30 minutes) and is followed by a talk from Joe Beale with a Q&A (approx. 60 minutes).
