Our 13 acre garden and new play area near the main lawn are perfect for family adventures all year round! Free facilitated events take place throughout the year and special workshops run during school holidays. Our botanic garden is the ideal spot for picnics and our café offers a menu for our younger visitors.

Family trails
Discover Fulham Palace with one of our free family trails! Our family trails take you through the museum and historic rooms and outside around the site. The trails can be picked up from the museum front desk where you will also be given a clipboard and pencil to complete your trail. We currently offer:
- Beasts and bishops (ages 3 – 7)
- Palace architecture (ages 8 – 12)
- The secret Palace (ages 8 – 12)
- Palace archaeology (ages 8 – 12)
Family fun days
We hold monthly family fun days throughout the year. There are always crafts, activities and games, each month around a different theme – from design to archaeology. Check our events page to find out about our upcoming family fun days.
Palace explorers
Our weekly Palace explorers sessions give 2 to 5 year olds and their adults a creative and exciting way to experience the Palace. Find out more.
Palace explorers is the highlight of our week. It is a fantastic combination of singing, stories, exploring and artwork.
