Outdoor theatre: Pinocchio

This summer, Illyria brings Carlo Collodi’s much-loved coming-of-age classic Pinocchio to the beautiful walled garden at Fulham Palace.

When a wooden puppet runs away in search of adventure, he dreams of excitement and freedom. Instead, he encounters cruel bosses, tricksters and dazzling attractions that hide unexpected dangers. As Pinocchio learns that lies have a way of revealing themselves, he begins to discover what it truly means to become real.

Illyria is renowned for its bold storytelling, boundless energy and inventive staging. Performed in the open air, surrounded by the beauty of the garden, this performance promises to be a joyful, laughter-filled afternoon for the whole family.

Bring a picnic blanket or low-backed chair, settle in under the sky and enjoy food and drink available to purchase on site.

Event details:

• Doors open at 13.30 for a performance start time of 14.00.
• Performance length is approximately 95 minutes including a 20-minute interval.
• Tickets may be purchased at the door (subject to availability).
• This show is recommended for ages 5+. Children must be supervised at all times, accompanying babies go free.
• Food and drink will be available for purchase on-site.
• This event will go ahead in all weather unless it is unsafe to do so. Please dress accordingly.
• Seating is not provided. Please bring a low-backed chair, rug or picnic blanket if you wish.
• This event may be photographed by a volunteer photographer. If you would not like to be photographed, please speak to a member of staff on arrival.
• Buggies should be stored in the designated buggy park so as not to obstruct the view of others. The buggy park will be monitored throughout the event.
