Jazz on the lawn: The Coalminers

Jazz on the Lawn is back at Fulham Palace for another evening of live music performed with the unstoppable energy of The Coalminers.

Renowned for their signature ‘Swamp Soul’ sound, The Coalminers fuses New Orleans groove, funk and deep southern rhythm into a joyful, high impact live show that is guaranteed to get audiences moving.

Regular favourites at the 606 Club, this special outdoor performance features an expanded ten-piece line up, complete with a three-piece horn section for an even bigger, richer sound. Fronted by powerhouse vocalists Tommy Hare and Amy Bird, The Coalminers bring charisma, musical virtuosity and feel-good soul to the Palace lawn.

Described by Jazz FM as ‘riotous uplifting funk bursting at the seams, plus raw powerful vocals’, this is a summer evening of live music not to be missed.
