Graphic novels: publishing, black history and movies
1960s comics are now being used to create 21st century, billion dollar movies like X-Men, Captain America and Superman.
This special presentation will look at how African/Caribbean-centred graphic novels and modern technology are re-telling amazing true stories and setting up their own Black-centred universes to be transposed into exciting visual media.
