Trustee vacancies
Fulham Palace is a truly remarkable place. Home to the Bishops of London for over 1,300 years, the Palace’s charming Tudor and Georgian courtyards nestle gracefully amongst 13 acres of peaceful botanic gardens. Fulham Palace ranks amongst England’s most important heritage sites and when considered within its exceptional setting, it’s fair to state that Fulham Palace is entirely without peer in London.
We are currently looking for additional trustees to support Fulham Palace as the Trust embarks on the next exciting new phase in its history. It has been an extraordinary and challenging few years due to the pandemic and global economic pressures, but there is great potential for the Trust to continue its engaging and innovative work.
We are seeking two trustees to take up roles which will become vacant over the next few months. We are looking specifically for candidates with backgrounds in law and IT / digital technology / data management. In addition, you should be passionate about heritage and the Trust’s work to involve people in history and horticulture. You should have good business and financial acumen, be a strategic thinker, well networked in your area of expertise, a great communicator and able to develop strong working relationships with trustees, staff and external stakeholders. Given the continued economic turbulence you should be resilient and able to cope with further challenges.
Please view the information pack for further details on the Trust and the full trustee role profile and person specification.
Applicants are required to submit an up to date cv plus a supporting statement of no more than two pages of A4. The supporting statement should explain why you are interested in the role and how you meet the person specification and the requirement for a specialism in IT / digital technology / data management or law.
If you have any specific requirements, or have any questions about the role, email Sian Harrington, CEO, at sian.harrington@fulhampalace.org.
Please send your CV plus the supporting statement to Sian Harrington. The closing date is mid-day Monday 29 September 2025.
