Christmas is coming to Fulham Palace, and this year we’re inviting local businesses to help us make it extra special.
From 26 November to 13 December, the Palace will be home to a festive showcase of Christmas trees, each decorated by a different local business. It’s a chance to bring your team together for a fun festive activity, get creative and show off your business to Palace visitors, all while supporting Fulham Palace.
Get creative with your Christmas tree
Businesses can donate £300 and bring their team to the Palace to decorate one of our Christmas trees.
We’ll provide the tree and the festive setting. Your team provides the creativity!
Whether you go traditional and twinkly, completely over the top or come up with something that perfectly captures your brand, the decorations are up to you. We’re looking forward to seeing just how creative everyone gets.
Once the trees are decorated, they’ll remain on display at the Palace throughout the showcase, giving visitors the chance to admire them and vote for their favourite.
And, of course, there’s a little friendly competition involved. The tree with the most votes will be crowned the winner.
A festive team activity with a difference
Looking for something a little different for your Christmas team gathering?
Decorating a Christmas tree together is a great excuse to get away from the office, spend some time with your team and get into the festive spirit. You’ll have the Palace as your backdrop with plenty of opportunities to get creative and a finished tree that thousands of visitors can enjoy.
It’s also a great way to support a local charity. Your donation helps Fulham Palace continue to care for this special historic site, its collections, garden and community programmes.
What’s included?
For £300, your business will receive:
- A Christmas tree to decorate, in one of seven spots around the Palace, from the great hall to Bishop Howley’s room
- A dedicated decorating session for your team, with a member of Palace staff on hand to take photos of the day, which we’ll share with you afterwards, perfect for your team newsletter or social media
- A framed sign with your business name displayed alongside your tree, seen by every visitor who passes through
- Promotion across Fulham Palace’s social media, newsletter and website
- A listing in the printed and digital Christmas fair brochure
- Your tree displayed as part of the Christmas tree showcase, from 26 November to 13 December
- Five complimentary tickets to the Christmas fair at twilight
- Entry into the showcase competition, with the chance to be crowned this year’s winner
Businesses are responsible for providing their own decorations and for collecting them once the showcase has finished, so you can take them back to the office and give them another life next Christmas! If you need some inspiration, just let us know and we can point you towards places to buy decorations in bulk. Or, if you’d rather skip the packing up, you’re welcome to donate your decorations to the Palace and we’ll take care of the rest.

Bring your team
Decorating sessions take place on Wednesday 26 or Thursday 27 November. Book your slot and bring your colleagues along for some festive fun.
Get creative
Bring your own decorations and transform your tree however you like.
Show it off
Your finished tree will be displayed at the Palace from 26 November to 13 December.
Let the public decide
Visitors will vote for their favourite tree, with the winning business taking the festive crown!
Collect your decorations
From 14 December, you’re welcome to collect your decorations and take them home for next year. Or, if you’d rather not bother with the packing up, just leave them with us and we’ll donate them on your behalf.
