Beekeeping experience

Do you want to find out what goes on inside a beehive?  Why are there so few male bees? How do we get the honey out of the hive?

All your questions will be answered by the Fulham Palace beekeeping team as you put on a bee suit and visit the Fulham Palace bees up close.  In this fascinating bee session, you will get a chance to look inside a hive and be amongst the bees under the careful supervision of our beekeepers.

Event details:

• This experience is for ages 16+.
• This session will go ahead in all weather unless exceptional circumstances (swarming, lightning, high winds, etc.) take place.
• Please dress accordingly for this event and wear sensible closed-toed shoes.
• This event does not qualify you as a trained beekeeper.
