If you go down to the Palace today, you’re sure of a big surprise…

You and your favourite teddy are invited to join us for a teddy-tastic day of family fun in Fulham Palace’s beautiful walled garden. Pack a picnic from home or enjoy something tasty from our café as you take part in a full day of teddy themed activities and garden adventures.

Little ones will be enchanted by an outdoor theatre performance, enjoy lively games and get creative with teddy themed crafts. There will be plenty of chances to get moving too, from garden games to a Mini Mozart music session.

Activities include:

Storytelling & drawing

Join an interactive and energetic session packed with stories and fun. Children will enjoy a teddy bear tale and develop their creative skills through imaginative activities.

Goldilocks & the Three Bears

Be transported by Cat & Hutch’s lively puppetry and musical adaptation of the beloved classic. Join best friends Goldilocks and Not So Baby Bear as they recount the story of how they met and the mix ups that happened along the way in this playful and interactive performance. Don’t forget to bring your teddy along to join in the fun!

Crafts

Get creative with hands on activities! Make your own teddy bear ears to wear and show off.

Decorate teddy themed pictures using colours, stickers and stamps to let your imagination fly.

Mini Mozart

Sing along with live piano and orchestral instruments in this fun and interactive music session for young children.

Garden games

Try your hand at giant chess, Connect 4, bean bag toss and boules on the lawn.

Gummy bear jar guess*

Take a guess at how many gummy bears are in the jar — the closest guess wins the whole jar!

Dress up & photo area*

Put on some fun costumes, strike a pose with your teddy and capture the moment with a photo to remember the day.

Face painting*

Ever dream of being your teddy’s twin? Our face painter will transform little ones into happy teddies and other animal characters.

Event details:

• This event is suitable for children aged 3 to 7.
• The standard ticket includes entry for one child and one accompanying adult.
• Children must be accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times.
• Some activities require additional charge. Payment can be made at the time of the activity.
• Please help make our teddy bear picnic fun for everyone by following our list of do’s and don’ts.
• Home packed picnics are welcome, but all rubbish must be taken away with you.
• Food and drink will be available to purchase on the day.
• This event will go ahead in all weather unless it is unsafe to do so. Please dress appropriately.
• Buggies must be stored in the designated buggy park, which will be monitored throughout the event.
• Registered assistance dogs are welcome.
