Heritage Open Days: the secret Palace

Ever wondered what goes on behind the many doors of our famous Tudor courtyard? Now is your chance to find out on our free guided tour!

For over 1,300 years Fulham Palace was the home of the Bishops of London. With an interactive museum, historic staterooms, a Victorian chapel, 13 acres of botanic gardens, a shop, café and garden barrow there is a wealth of fascinating history to discover.

Our free tour will take you on a journey through the warren of rooms built by Tudor Bishop FitzJames. Explore the amazing architectural features and incredible structures of the Palace not normally open to the public, including the Victorian stable block and Tudor offices.
