Palace history tour
Thursday, Saturday & Sunday • 11.30 – 12.45 • £12.00 standard
Step inside a Tudor palace that has seen bishops, builders, prisoners and botanists come and go across 1,300 years. Our guided history tour takes you from the Tudor courtyard to the Bishop’s tree, with its carvings of past bishops, including ‘Bloody’ Bonner, whose ghost is said to still walk the grounds, and finishes at Bishop Porteus’ library, home to a hidden door that isn’t quite what it seems. Along the way, you’ll hear the stories that make this place what it is: some worth celebrating, some harder to sit with. Tours run most Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 11.30 and cost £12.00 per adult (ages 14+), with 10% off in the café afterwards. Book your place and see it for yourself.
Garden history tour
Occasional Sundays • 11.30 – 12.45 • £12.00 standard
Come and walk through 1,300 years of history with us. Our garden tour takes in Tudor brickwork, rare plants collected by Bishop Compton in the 1600s, and a wildflower moat alive with butterflies, all cared for today by the same small, dedicated team of gardeners and volunteers who keep this garden growing. Tours run on the second and last Sunday of each month at 11.30 and cost £12.00 per adult (ages 14+), with 10% off in the café afterwards. Book your place and see it for yourself.

Tours tailored to your group’s interests. Let one of our experienced guides bring your group visit to life. One of the best ways to discover different aspects of the Palace’s long and varied history. As well as the tour, your group can stroll around the gardens, explore the museum and buy fresh produce grown in our garden from our market barrow.
Everyone was so impressed with Fulham Palace, its long, interesting history and all the work being done in the gardens to bring back some of its former glory.
The gardens were looking very good and we’ve been prompted to come again – possibly in May to see the magnificent wisteria.
