Outdoor theatre returns to Fulham Palace this summer with a family favourite that is bursting with energy, music and mischief.
Award-winning Immersion Theatre presents their hugely entertaining musical adaptation of The Jungle Book, bringing Rudyard Kipling’s much-loved story to life in the magical setting of our walled garden.
Follow Mowgli as he journeys through the jungle with Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther. Along the way they meet a slippery snake, some very cheeky monkeys and the fierce tiger Shere Khan. With original songs, plenty of audience participation and larger than life characters, this is a joyful, interactive adventure that will keep children laughing from start to finish.
Funny, exciting and wildly entertaining, this AOOO-some musical is the perfect summer treat for the whole family. Bring a picnic blanket or low-backed chair, relax in the garden and enjoy food and drink available to purchase on the day.

Enjoy a pre-packed picnic from our friends at Pique available for pre-order to savour on the day. Picnics must be purchased 48 hours in advance.
Teddy Bear Picnic
A luxury children’s picnic hamper designed for an outdoor dining experience. Includes a choice of baguette or orzo pasta with basil pesto (nut-free option available), hummus with carrot and cucumber sticks, caramelised onion sausage rolls, chocolate brownie bites and fresh strawberries. Comes with plates, cutlery, and napkins.
Pique Nique
Our classic picnic, packed with goodies and handmade to order with premium ingredients. Includes sausage rolls, chicken Caesar salad, orzo with roasted vegetables & pesto, beetroot & watercress salad, burrata with mortadella and pistachios, pea hummus with crudités, herby aioli with pitta chips, fresh baguette, British strawberries and chocolate brownies.
Leonardo Da Veggie
Our delicious vegetarian picnic, handmade with the finest ingredients. Packed with herby potato & goat’s cheese frittata, burrata with tomatoes & basil, orzo with roasted vegetables & pesto, seasonal arancini, pea hummus with crudités, crisps, fresh baguette, British strawberries and chocolate brownies.
Event details
- Doors open at 10.00. The performance will begin at 11.00.
- Performance length is approximately 85 minutes with a 20 minute interval.
- Online ticket sales will close 24 hours before the event. Tickets may be purchased at the door (subject to availability).
- This show is recommended for ages 4+. Children must be supervised at all times, accompanying babies go free.
- Food and drink will be available for purchase on-site.
- This event will go ahead in all weather unless it is unsafe to do so. Please dress accordingly.
- Seating is not provided. Please bring a low-backed chair, rug or picnic blanket if you wish.
- This event may be photographed by a volunteer photographer. If you would not like to be photographed, please speak to a member of staff on arrival.
- Buggies should be stored in the designated buggy park so as not to obstruct the view of others. The buggy park will be monitored throughout the event.
