Designed for children aged 2 – 4 and their adults, Palace explorers offers fun and interactive sessions to help your little one discover Fulham Palace.
This session:
20 August – Brilliant minibeasts
Discover the miniature worlds of insects! Together we’ll explore the historic garden garden looking for bugs of all shapes and sizes. We’ll even make a cosy bug hotel for you to take home. Weather permitting, most of this session will take place outside.

22 August – Ponds
What do you think lives in the Palace’s pond? Together, we’ll discover the walled garden pond and craft mini paper ponds. Weather permitting, most of this session will take place outside.
27 August – Carriages to cars
Join us for a whimsical-wheeled adventure! Bring along your favourite set of wheels, whether it’s a toy car, tractor or train. Park your wheels in our indoor car park and get ready to roll into some creative fun with roller printing.
29 August – Building blocks
Discover the amazing bricks that have kept the palace standing for hundreds of years. Let’s look for the beautiful Tudor patterns created by brickwork before painting your own patterned wall.
Event details:
- Palace explorers sessions are suitable for children ages 2 – 4.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Weather permitting, most of this session will take place outside.
- Palace explorers is made possible thanks to the John Lyon’s Charity School Holiday Activity Fund (SHAF).
- Palace explorers sessions are available to residents currently living in the boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham.
