Supporters exclusive: Private tour of Southwark Cathedral (sold out)

Join us for an exclusive upcoming tour for Friends and Patrons!

Friends and Patrons will meet at the Southwark Cathedral café before being led on the light and colour stained glass tour. We will examine some of London’s best examples of 19th and 20th century stained glass. The tour includes the works of artists such as Lawrence Lee, John La Farge, Leifur Breidfjord, Alan Younger, Christopher Webb and Ninian Comper.

Discover artist Ninian Comper, who’s work also can be seen in the chapel at Fulham Palace. After the window above the alter was damaged in the Second World War, Bishop Wand hired Comper to redesign the window which can still be seen today.

We will meet at Southwark Cathedral café for a hot drink before the tour, with tea or coffee included in the booking price, and the tour will begin at 11.00.
