Roman, Saxons and Vikings – farms and forts in Fulham (online lecture)

Join community archaeologist Alexis as he explores how the Roman development of Fulham reflects Britain’s economic situation at the time, the Empire’s collapse and the subsequent Saxon arrival. Viking threats led to substantial alterations in regards of late Anglo-Saxon military strategy, another shift which would directly impact on the Palace.
