Young Archaeologists’ Club (YAC)

Our Young Archaeologists’ Club (YAC) is back with an exciting new term of hands-on sessions!

Join community archaeologist Alexis and uncover some of the long and layered history of Fulham Palace. Young Archaeologists’ Club is suitable for young people ages 8 – 16 year old and attend independently.

Term schedule:

Saturday 15 October – Roman cooking

What did the Romans eat and how did they prepare their food? Join us as Rose from the City of London Archaeological Society teaches us how to cook Roman delicacies. Will they be delicious or disgusting? There’s only one way to find out!

Saturday 19 November – Excursion

An excursion to London’s Roman Wall with Jane Sidell, London’s Inspector of Ancient Monuments. We’ll be finding out when and why the walls were built, what they were made from and where they ran to. A must for any young archaeologists interested in the history of Roman London.
