Restoration update: Courtyard works

From January to March restoration project work is moving to the front drive, Tudor courtyard and great hall.

During January and February the Tudor courtyard entrance to the Palace will be closed and access to the Palace will be through the café’s terrace entrance. During this period the Tudor courtyard will be closed to the public.

The great hall will be closed from January to March while it is restored. You will still be able enter through the gates on Bishop’s Avenue from January to March while work to the driveway takes place. Instead of the driveway, take the temporary path to the right hand side which will lead you past the chapel and onto the main lawn.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.
