This Easter, explore the historic Palace on a self-guided Easter egg trail for the whole family! 🐣🐰
Hidden across the historic house and its beautiful garden are ten colourful eggs, each marked with a letter. Some are tucked away inside the centuries old rooms of the Palace, others are waiting to be discovered among the gardens and grounds. Your challenge is to find every egg, collect the letters and unscramble them to solve the Easter Bunny’s riddle.
Search high and low through the Palace that has welcomed visitors for hundreds of years. Once you’ve cracked the code, make your way back to the museum to share your answer and claim your egg-cellent prize.
It’s the perfect way to enjoy the fresh air, discover a little history and make some Easter memories together!
Event details:
- Suitable for ages 5+ or 3+ with adult help.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- This is a self-guided trail and takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.
- Eggs are hidden both inside the historic Palace and outside in the grounds.
- Portions of the trail include walking across grass, gravel and cobbled paths.
- Trails can be purchased from the museum front desk daily between 10.30 and 15.00. No prebooking required.
- Trail price includes a prize (edible and non-edible options).
- Prizes are available while supplies last.
