Wattle weaving
Wattle has been used for thousands of years to build walls, fences and even protect land from erosion. In this hands-on session, we will explore the history of wattle construction and try our hand at weaving our own wattle structures.
Event details:
- Our Young Archaeologists’ Club is for ages 8 – 16.
- Students attend independently.
- Attendees should come dressed in appropriate clothing for outdoor activities.
- Guardians will be asked to sign a photo permission form for their student at this workshop. There is no obligation to sign this form if you do not wish your child to be photographed.
