Enjoy the perfect autumnal day out at apple day!
Apple day returns to Fulham Palace on Sunday 4th October, bringing a much-loved autumn tradition back to the Palace grounds on the first Sunday of the month.
Following the excitement of last year’s event, we’re looking forward to welcoming the local community back for another celebration of the season. Set amongst the Palace’s historic gardens, apple day has become a highlight of the autumn calendar and a chance to experience Fulham Palace at one of the most colourful times of year.
What to expect at apple day
The Palace grounds will once again come alive with seasonal activities inspired by the annual harvest.
Explore the garden, discover different apple varieties and enjoy plenty of autumnal activities throughout the day. Whether you’re returning after last year’s celebrations or visiting apple day for the first time, there will be plenty to discover across the grounds.
From orchard to apple day
Apples have a special connection to the gardens at Fulham Palace, making apple day a fitting celebration of the estate’s horticultural heritage.
Across the 13 acres of the Palace, changing colours, seasonal produce and historic planting reveal a different side of the gardens. Apple day puts the autumn harvest centre stage, allowing visitors to learn more about the fruit grown here while enjoying everything the grounds have to offer at this time of year.
A taste of autumn
Apple day wouldn’t be complete without something seasonal to enjoy along the way. The Fulham Palace café will be joining the celebrations with a special apple day offering, adding an autumnal treat to the day’s activities. Expect a menu with familiar apple day favourites such as toffee apples and other seasonal treats.
