Dissecting the dirt: Advanced young archaeology course

Archaeology and project management skills course for ages 16-25.

If you have a keen interest in archaeology, history, geography or geology, and are looking to develop professional transferable skills, this course is perfect for you. Practice both project management and people management, as well as skills used in the field by archaeologists

Supported by our community archaeologist, Alexis, you’ll start by helping with our Young Archaeologists’ Club and later in the term you will plan and facilitate sessions for them. In the afternoon you will get in-depth, practical archaeological training – the skills you’ll learn are useful in the field, but also in many different career paths. The sessions will be informative, but more importantly, interesting and will give you a chance to get creative!
