Join our annual springtime celebration of sustainability and biodiversity!
Explore a wide selection of stalls featuring local craftsmanship and eco-friendly alternatives from small businesses. Learn a new skill at one of our workshops and hear experts discuss the latest topics in our talks tent. Relax to some live music with a bite to eat from sustainable food vendors or the drawing room café. Children can enjoy crafts, outdoor games and more, and adults can enter our tombola for the chance to win big!
This year, discover an amazing range of stalls with a variety of eco-friendly and sustainable options. The Palace garden barrow will also be on show featuring freshly picked flowers, honey and preserves from our bees and trees and handcrafted items from our volunteer green woodworkers. With plenty of stalls stocked with sustainable goods to upcycled wonders, come ready to shop!
Listen to keynote speakers discuss speciality topics, from conservation and sustainability to horticulture and natural history.
Activities for all
From hands-on workshops to testing your luck at the tombola, there’s something for everyone at the green meet! Enjoy a picnic on the lawn as you listen to live music, and celebrate all things green with a wide range of tours, talks and workshops.
Test your luck at the tombola and win a surprise! All proceeds from the tombola go towards supporting the Palace and its garden.
Have you planted your spring seeds and still have a few left in the packet, or did you harvest more than you needed last year? Share the love and bring your seeds along to our seed swap! You’ll be able to exchange your spare seeds for something you don’t have – making your garden more colourful, scented and delicious. All seeds are welcome, from flowers to produce. Make sure the seeds you bring are clearly labelled so we know what they are.
Picnic on the lawn
Grab a beverage and bite to eat and from the drawing room café or some of the delicious food vendors on site! Sit back, relax and enjoy the live music as you take a break from the activities. You’ll be spoilt for choice!
