Palace explorers

Join our creative, hands-on sessions for 2 to 4 year olds and their adults.  Each week introduces an exciting new theme to explore.

For the last session in our ‘Meet the Bishops’ term, we’ll learn all about the Palace when Bishop Winnington-Ingram resided here in the early 20th century. Find out about how the house was turned into a hospital for wounded soldiers during the First World War, the types of medicines using during this time, and how to make a sling and bandage and look after each other.

Tickets include a drink and healthy snack. Accompanying adults and babies are free. Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult.
