Palace explorers: Children’s choice!
Join our creative, hands-on sessions for 2 to 4 year olds and their adults. Each week introduces an exciting new theme to explore.
This week
Monday 27 January – Cuffs and ruffs
Royalty and nobility need special clothes, this week children will learn the order of dress for a Tudor monarch, and create their own bejewelled glove.
Upcoming sessions this term
Monday 3 February – Cooking at the Palace
Did you know the oldest turkey bones in Britain were found at Fulham Palace? Explore the cuisine and culinary history of the Tudor Palace.
Monday 10 February – Gone fishing
Picture yourself fishing in the moat, visit the river, and imagine what you might catch. This week children will learn about the different types of fish that call the river home, and go on a ‘fishing trip’ to the moat.
