Palace explorers late autumn term: Sense-ational: touch
Join our creative, hands-on sessions for 2 to 4 year olds and their adults. Each week introduces an exciting new theme to explore.
This term
Week 1 (2 and 3 November) Touch Palace Explorers feel their way around the Palace and create their very own textured art work.
Week 2 (9 and 10 November) I like that smell! What are the nice and not so nice smells of the Palace? Come and enjoy herbal fragrances.
Week 3 (16 and 17 November) Look at the colours! How many different autumn leaves can Explorers find? Use the leaves to create a wonderful picture of the Palace in the autumn.
Week 4 (23 and 24 November) Taste the Tudors Sugar and ginger- Elizabeth I loved both! Come and make your own sugar decoration.
Week 5 (30 November and 1 December) Christmas is almost upon us. Explore the scents of the season and create a Christmas decoration.
Week 6 (7 and 8 December) A Christmas Robin Turn on your ears! Investigate the bird life around the garden.
Accompanying adult and babies are free. Please note, children must be accompanied by one adult.
