Did you know Queen Elizabeth I stayed at Fulham Palace twice during her reign and would have dined at the Bishop’s table? In this session, we’ll explore what people ate in the Tudor period and what archaeological evidence has been found on site. Discover the foods, flavours and dining customs of Tudor England.


Event details:

  • Our Young Archaeologists’ Club is for ages 8 – 16.
  • Students attend independently.
  • Attendees should come dressed in appropriate clothing for outdoor activities.
  • Guardians will be asked to sign a photo permission form for their student at this workshop. There is no obligation to sign this form if you do not wish your child to be photographed.
