Palace explorers

Join our creative, hands-on sessions for 2 to 4 year olds and their adults. Each week introduces an exciting new theme to explore.

This week

What would you wear?
We’ll be exploring fabric through touch, deciding which would be best for King Henry VII to wear. We’ll decorate our very own Tudor velvet money pockets to take home!

Upcoming sessions this term

Tuesday 12 November – Queen of the garden
Queen Elizabeth II loves the outdoors – we’ll be discovering woodcraft through knots and tracking.

Tuesday 19 November – Wonderful wigs
We’ll explore the world of the Georgians, which includes wigs which Queen Charlotte wore. We’ll make and wear our own wild wigs!

Tuesday 26 November – Hats off!
Would you dare wear yours in church? Would Charles I have removed his when visiting the Palace? We’ll make our own outrageous hats!

Tickets include a drink and healthy snack. Accompanying adults and babies are free. Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult.
