Palace explorers early autumn term: Gone fishing

Join our creative, hands-on sessions for 2 to 4 year olds and their adults. Each week introduces an exciting new theme to explore.

This term

Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 September – Let’s play outside!
Children lived at the Palace and loved the outdoors. Play Victorian games and create your very own toy.

Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 September – Gone fishing
Picture yourself by a watery moat. How many fish would you catch? Come and try out your rod and line skills.

Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 October – Sports
Bishop Winnington-Ingram was a great sportsman; what games did he play on the lawns of Fulham Palace? Come and make a cup and ball toy.

Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 October – Historic hospital
Imagine the Palace café as a hospital during WWI: we recreate the ward and Explorers make a doctor’s kit.

Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 October – Horsing around
Neigh! Horses were often seen working around the Palace farm. Saddle up your hobby horse and have a gallop around the grounds.

Accompanying adult and babies are free. Please note, children must be accompanied by one adult.
